Who we are

IN DUST WE TRUST has been part of the Burning Man community for more than 20 years, with official placement since 2012. What began as a small group of friends has grown into an international Playa Family with members from all over the world — many of whom found their way to us through the most unexpected coincidences making great stories to share.

Our Community

Our camp welcomes everyone who shares the spirit of radical inclusion and the other 9 principles of Burning Man. Among us are people of all ages and backgrounds who come together each year to build, live, and celebrate our shared space in the dust. We create a place of connection, laughter, and generosity — and we love to explore Black Rock City just as much as we enjoy creating a welcoming oasis where laughter, creativity, and connection thrive.

What we do

Our camp is known for its playful and interactive spirit: we gift pasties and lingerie in exchange for life stories, serve colorful Snow Cones under the hot desert sun, host the infamous Ugly Bridesmaid Dress Party and delight early risers with Bourbon & Bacon or Bubbles & Bacon mornings.

But our presence on the Playa goes beyond our camp’s boundaries. Each year, we join forces for community shifts — whether helping at Arctica or walking with the Lamplighters. These shared moments remind us that Burning Man is a city built on participation and care.
